Many girls know what they believe, but fear judgment if they speak up. This creates an inner conflict known as cognitive dissonance. Teaching them to align beliefs with actions builds trust in themselves and leadership skills for the future.
What parents can do:
Role-play scenarios where your child practices saying what she believes in a kind, respectful way.
Praise honesty and courage, even when it’s uncomfortable.
Share stories of women leaders who use their voice with confidence.
